Be Safe

While UTPD and the university do a great deal to provide a safe environment, they require participation from the community to be fully effective (i.e. call 911, report suspicious activity, offer suggestions, etc.).

The Be Safe campaign is an effort to shift the thinking toward the idea that when folks look out for each other, the entire community becomes safer.

Walk With Me is an invitation to walk together on campus.

Be Aware is a reminder to put your phone down and keep your eyes and ears on your surroundings.

Call 911 is a reminder that 911 is the fastest way to get help from police ANY TIME you feel unsafe, or to get help during medical or fire emergencies.
